Consulting

Please get in touch if you'd like to work together in any of these areas and more.

Curatorial Research

For over a decade, Cabelle has conducted art-historical research at the highest level, translating that research for different publics—whether by uncovering unpublished documents in small European archives that reshape established artist biographies, or by conducting deeply researched long-form interviews with emerging and blue-chip artists that prompt readers to see their work anew.

Research areas include: Art historical research, archival research (with fluency in art historical archives across France, U.K., and the Netherlands), provenance research, and condition reports.

Editorial

Cabelle has an expansive writing portfolio, drawing from her background as a non-profit director, journalist, art historian, and editorial project manager.

Editorial areas include: Artist statements, gallery essays, catalogue texts, press releases, grant writing, translations, and book-length and long-form editorial projects.

Strategy & Advisory

Drawing from her curatorial experience and from advising private collectors, Cabelle also consults on collecting strategies, especially in demystifying the Old Masters market for new collectors.

Advisory areas include: Collection development strategy (especially in drawings and prints) and cross-category collecting guidance.
